The raincoat is perfect for the bike ride to work, the walk with the dog and the many hours on the playground. The raincoat is composed of 2.5 layers, an outer fabric, an intermediate layer and a wind and waterproof membrane. The inside of the raincoat has a fuzzy fleece lining, which makes the raincoat nice and warm. Note that the raincoat is nice and warm, but not as warm as our winter coats, as it does not have a thermal intermediate layer. The raincoat is thus intended for cold Spring and Autumn days, as well as Winter days when it is not freezing cold. In colder Winter weather, we recommend one of our waterproof winter coats. The raincoat has a water column pressure of 8,000 mm and has taped seams (over 3,000 mm means waterproof, so the coat is very waterproof). The raincoat is breathable and windproof. A double-zipped front zipper that can be zipped from the bottom up makes the coat nicely bike-friendly. The zipper is covered by a front piece, which is closed with snaps. The raincoat has 2 sloping front pockets that close with snaps. The hood has a good depth with a small shade and space for a hat underneath. The hood can be adjusted with an elastic band, so that the opening can be adjusted to the face and vision as needed. The cap is removable. Elastic and velcro at the cuffs keep out cold and rain. The coat has a belt at the waist, so it can be adjusted for best fit. The raincoat is coated with fluorine-free coating (Bionic Finish). The raincoat can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
