Bagsværd Licorice Salt

Handmade Danish quality. Bagsværd Lakrids Salt is made with locally produced coarse sea salt from Læsø.

Liquorice has its characteristic taste because it is made from the finest licorice powder and because it is produced by the Maillard reaction, where milk protein and sugar react with each other in the pot. After boiling, the licorice is poured into molds, where it hardens overnight before being hand-cut and packaged. The licorice is cut with a sturdy knife.

Ingredients (DK/NO/SE): Sugar, glucose syrup, sweetened condensed milk , fully hydrogenated palm kernel oil , powdered raw liquorice, salt (Læsø sydesalt), ammonia, vegetable emulsifier: mono- and diglycerides, colour: vegetable charcoal , surface treated (shellac).

Storage (EN): Dry and not too hot. Storage (DE): Trocken und nicht zu heiss.

The product does not contain gelatin and the condensed milk used is halal and kosher.
