The raincoat has a water column pressure of 8,000 mm and has taped seams (over 3,000 mm means waterproof, so the coat is very waterproof). The raincoat is breathable and windproof. A double-zip front zip that can be zipped from the bottom up makes the coat delightfully bike-friendly. The zip is covered by a front piece which closes with press studs.
