The softshell jacket is made of a very comfortable and stretch fabric that combines windproofness, elegance and warmth in a 3-layer construction consisting of: Outer layer: highcount polyester stretch outer shell with fluor-free water-repellent treatment Middle layer: wind and water-repellent breathable intermediate membrane Inside layer: soft and warm polar fleece on the inside The fit is really dressy, and the stretchability of the material makes it incredibly comfortable. The coat is lined with a soft and light polar fleece, so that in addition to being windproof, it also provides good warmth for spring, autumn and cool summer evenings. The jacket has a silver zipper on the front, two slanted pockets also with a zipper and a nice wide ribbed edge on the sleeves to keep the wind out. Note that the seams of the coat cannot be taped, due to the soft fleece on the inside. This means that rain can draw into the seams in heavy rain, so even though the coat can handle a lot of rain, it is not a definite raincoat. The softshell jacket can be machine washed at 30 degrees.
