The softshell is in a gorgeous and very stretch comfortable material that is both windproof, waterproof and warm, made of a 3-layer construction consisting of: Outer: Highcount polyester stretch outershell with flour free water-resistant coating In the middle: Wind- and waterproof breathable middle-membrane Inner: Soft and warm polar fleece The softshell material has a waterproofness of 8.000 mm and is also windproof and breathable. The jacket is coated with a flour free coating and does thereby not contain any harmful substances. Notice that because of the soft fleece on the inside, it is impossible to tape the seams together which means that the jacket is not 100% waterproof in cases of e.g. heavy rain. The jacket has a removable hood for the child's safety. The jacket has a wide ribbing by the wrists which keeps out the wind, as well as two pockets with zippers. The jacket is produced under BSCI certified conditions and is machine washable at 30 degrees. Generally we do recommend to wash outerwear as little as possible.
